I will remember Dr. Slinger for the wonderful person he was during the time I worked for him in the late 70's. He had a great since of humor especially since he trained me in dermatology of which I had no previous experience. I often wondered how many tickets he got driving up (in the Porsche) from Ft. Myers in time for an afternoon patient. I will also remember his excitement in showing me some beautiful watercolors he was working on, and the proper way to make a cup of tea! I will remember him dearly. My sincere condolences to his family. Felicia Graff

Bill was one of the finest gentlemen I have ever met. He and Char were always so much fun during the Nature Coast Painters Monday meetings, and I am so glad that I got to share the enjoyment of Bill's induction into the Florida Watercolor Society at the Saturday banquet in September. It was a privilege to be Bill's friend... we shall all miss him.
