Not sure what to say?

We are so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Although we haven't been in touch in many years, we remember fun times visiting, and playing together with Bill & Joanne's daughters. Please accept our sincere sympathies and we are praying for you all. May the Lord comfort you during this difficult time and always.

Bill was a younger classmate along with his wife Joanne at Schlarman High School in Danville IL in the late fifties. I remember them both as really nice, fun loving people with great attitudes. I particularly remember seeing them both, at a class reunion a few years back hosted by my brother in Danville IL. They seemed to have aged very little and I reminisce often about seeing them after all those years. Long live the gregarious Joanne (a.k.a. Spider).

So sorry to hear about Bill. Sending our condolences to all the Slykas family and to your girls and their families. Sincerely, the Dietz family, the Clark family, and the Downey family.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers

Joanne,
I was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I will always remember him as a great neighbor. He loved his pets and my dog Bella loved him too.

We will keep your family in our prayers. As the days and weeks pass, I will always be here for you if you need someone to talk to.

JoAnn I am so sorry for your loss.... I remember many great times as we worked together at Giacoma .... you are in my prayers along with your family....

My condolences to the Slykas family. Bill is a man whom I have never forgotten throughout my lifetime. He was my basketball coach at St. Mary's and he led us to many victories back in the day. Bill inspired all of us to be better on the court and in our lives. He was fierce and kind and full of life when I knew him. His enthusiasm for the game was contagious. He will always remain a fond memory in my heart. Goodbye Bill. You made a difference.

My father was peaceful when he passed. I am grateful my mom brought him home ❤
