William Paul Smart

General Bill Smart was one of the absolute best in everything he did. It was an honor and a pleasure to know him as my friend. Bill was an enormously great leader in our Alabama Division of Reenactors and in organizing some the biggest and most spectacular reenactment events on the National level, from the private soldier to the other brilliant Commanders who put many thousands of individuals in mock battle representations of a tual historic events in our National history. I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Bill about 16 years ago through Madison County flag football. He was a pleasure to work with and it was an honor to know him. He always had a big, bright smile. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Semper Fi, Marine.
