Not sure what to say?

Living around the corner from Bill I had many opportunities to talk to him, mostly as he was walking his dog. He would always stop to talk and was always a gentleman. I would often see him at Nick's or Bob Evans and he would take time to stop and say Hi. I miss him already. Rest in Peace, Bill.

Mr Smee, as I always called him because I did not feel right calling him Bill, out of respect and the fact that he was almost 40 years older than me, lived 2 doors down from my family for the past 25+ years. He was such a kind man and friend to myself and to my wife and 3 children. If I was out in the yard and he was heading out in that Cadillac of his, he always waved or stopped to chat. My family will miss him dearly.

Bill was my dad's (Bob Polson) best man at his wedding in 1953. They were great friends when they were young and I believe went to school together. Both were born the same year and served in WWII and were definitely of the greatest generation. My dad died in 1999 and my mom just passed away in January 2017. My family is going through items and found my parents wedding album and there was your dad. My deepest sympathy to the family.

We were sorry to see that Bill passed away. I talked to him just before he moved. We have lived across from Bill for almost 40 years, went to his store and he came to ours. He was always fun to talk to. He will be missed. Bob and Peggy Quick

Bill Smee was a "true gentleman". He always had a kind word to share and took time for others. I will always remember him caring for his daughter, Rose, when she was ill. He had such a "big heart" and "kind soul". God bless you, Bill, for being such a wonderful man. You will be truly missed.

Bill was an example of one the greatest from the "greatest generation". I had the honor and privilege of being introduced to him by Jim Lupori and being his friend. Rest in peace sir. S/F

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
