I am sorry to hear the Bill Smeltz has passed away. We worked together at Kirk Mortuary Service of Houston for many years. I was so proud of him going to Mortuary School to become licensed. And so proud for him to own his own Funeral Home. He will be Greatly Missed and Never Forgotten. Rest in Peace My Friend.

BILL, our short Facetime conversation is the only memory I have of you. It is sad that we knew each other such a short time; but Heaven is eternal.
You are the youngest of Sleepy Bill and Nora's grandchildren and I am the oldest. 1946.

My condolences to the family. I just came upon this as I am trying to help a friend with the loss of her husband and I see this. I knew Bill from elementary school and didn't run into him until I was having to bury my dad back in 1999 at Morales Funeral Home. Bill was kind to my family during a very difficult time and I always appreciated it. He was always so sweet in school. Heaven has gained an angel. God bless.
