William Smith

A fond memory with Bill and his family was the traditional New Years Eve get together. For many years, we participated in 'First Night Celebrations' around Essex County with our young children. The night always ended with the traditional 'banging of pots' once the famous New Years Eve Ball dropped. I'm sure this was the best part of the night for the kids. I am grateful for these wonderful memories and I hope these stories bring some peace to Patty, Heather and Jarret

Our Disney vacations and long weekend trips are some of my fondest memories. I choose to remember Bill, healthy, and the years we shared as family friends. To my dearest childhood friend, Patty, and her children, Heather and Jarret. my heart breaks for you all. Please wrap your arms around each other and find support in your family's love. I'm sending prayers for peace and strength during this painful time..

Mr. Smith was always there for us when we were young kids in Bloomfield. From sports to rides and even brought us pizza and Gatorade when we were out playing some sport at the fields. Jarret and Family, we are so sorry for your loss. Are thoughts and prayers are with you.
