Not sure what to say?

Norman & Belinda, we were so sorry to hear of the death of Norman's dad. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. God Bless You!

Effert was very special to my grandmother, Willie Hays, and to myself. He made her very happy after the death of my grandfather. We will miss him very much.

I am blessed to have had Rev. Effert Snodderly as my Pastor. I experienced my call to the Gospel Ministry under his leadership. He gave me my first opportunity to preach. He was my friend and mentor. I was both licensed and ordained during his pastorate at Spray Baptist Church. He also officiated at my wedding. I will forever be grateful for his friendship and encouragement. He was indeed a man of God with a Christ-like love and compassion for everyone. He will be missed.

I am sure the Lord welcomed Pastor Snodderly with open arms. He was a great comfort to me when my son died, he made many trips to Durham to visit me and my baby boy, Duane Ellis. Duane is with the Lord also, maybe they will meet again.

To us, he was Preacher Snodderly. I was one of the first that he baptisted at Spray Baptist Church, and in later years he also baptisted both of my daughters. My Dad and Effert were the best of friends and when Mother left us, Norman made sure Effert was there for us. This world has lost a wonderful person but the Good Lord couldn't wait any longer for him.

We only knew Effert for the last eight years. He was a special friend and companion to my mother Willie Hays. It was through that relationship that we knew him. He was a man of faith, kind, gentle and caring. We will always be grateful to him for the joy that he brought to our mother. He was one of the most non-judgmental men we have ever known. We will always remember your spirit and your love for our mother. Larry Hays and Eugene Law, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Pastor Snodderly was my pastor when I was a child at Spray Baptist Chuch in Eden. He was a great man who truly loved and cared about people. His wife was also my school teacher. Pastor Snodderly and my grandfather, Rev. Oscar Turner were good friends and spent alot of time together when my grandparents were in town. I know he will be missed but think of the rejoicing in Heaven at this very minute.
