It's been a year since Uncle Nonny left us. It's still hard to believe. I had a voice mail message from him on the morning of the day he passed away. I couldn't bring myself to delete it. So I would hear his voice every morning, "Cookie, it's your Uncle Bill, call me." Now they installed a new phone system and the message is gone. I miss hearing his voice, but I still think of him every day.

Dad, Though it's been alittle over a yr.since you've been gone, there isn't a day that goes by that you are on my mind.Even when I'm doing repairs around the house. It's as if you were there to guide me and tell me what I'm doing wrong.I'll visit you alot so we can talk over old times.

I remember Uncle Nonny as a great caregiver to his children. As a child I spent many hours at his house to play with my cousins Sandy and Steve. He was a good cook and made great pork roast with sauerkraut and potatoes. He was always teasing and kidding around. He gave me a safe haven from Grandma and I will always remember him with great fondness as a true character. I'm sure he's up in heaven right now giving everyone a hard time.

Dear Bill,
I cannot thank you enough for my Steve he is the best thing that ever came into my life. Bill you were so good to me when I came into Steven's life with Tammy and Dawn. And having mimi and making you a grandpa and great grandpa I hope made you very happy. I will miss you so very much and will always remember you.I have all those memories with you and Joan and Katie and we will take care of them both.
Love you
