William "Bill" Sootsman Jr.

I grew up knowing Bill at North Park and always looked up to him as a true man of God and a mentor. He was one of the guys I always talked to after church. Bill took an interest in my profession, frequently asking how things were going. I even had a chance to play softball with him and was intrigued by how he played faithfully every week for as long as he did. Bill and his family were influential on my life growing up and I thank God for his wonderful life. Rest easy bud.

Bill was an icon at the Bronson Radiology Department. One of many unsung heroes who worked behind the scenes to provide our patients with superlative care. RIP, Bill. You earned it.

I have always been so thankful for Bill and his patience in getting me through Bronson's Radiology school --1964-1966. It was always a joy to see Him at Bronson over the years. I had no idea that he was my mother's age. Keith and my son, Tony, went to school together at Kalamazoo Christian.
