William E. Soper

William E. Soper, 92, Montrose, Pa., passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2009, at Endless Mountains Health Systems, Montrose.
He was born in Athens, Pa., to the late Marvin and Pearl (Talada) Soper.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Helen (White) Soper, Montrose; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Gina Soper, Manville, N.J.; two grandchildren, Thomas Soper, Jr., and Lisa Soper.
He was predeceased by a son, Thomas Soper; and a daughter, Nancy Lee Soper.
Bill enjoyed bowling, gardening and photography; at one time he had his own dark room. He was also a loving husband and father.
A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, with Rev. Margaret M. McCarty officiating.
Interment will be in the St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi, N.J.
Friends called on the family Tuesday evening, March 10.
