Bill was a beautiful man inside and out. We shared countless good times in our late teens as co-workers at B&L Sunoco, playing sports, building/racing cars and more. Everybody loved "Sop". My sincere condolences to the Sopko family.

Bill and I graduated from St. Edward in 1966. 10 year later we were young journeyman electricians in Local 38 IBEW. He was a wonderful friend and peer. Prayers and love to you and your family.

My sincerest condolences to the family. I'm a retired Local 38 wiremen and I had the good fortune of working for Bill on more than one project. I never met a man who treated me as fairly as he did.

Please accept my sincere condolences to the Sopko family. Nothing but fond memories of growing up together on Carrington. Enjoyed talking to Billy when he worked as a contractor at the Ford plant. Kevin Wrobleski

Sorry to hear about the passing of Billy. He was a good guy, good Marine, and a good VFW Post Member and Canteen Manager. I will always remember my time as Commander of VFW Post 3345 and the help that you rendered not only to me, but to all the members of the Post as the Canteen Manager. Your presence at the Post will be missed by the entire membership. If I get to heaven like you, I hope you will nominate me again to enter into heaven the same way you successfully nominated me for Post...
