Not sure what to say?

Bill and his family were my customers whom I did their shoe repair through out the seventies and eighties. He came by one day and asked if he could take my picture. Not realizing he was a professional and had recently started his photography business, I was very surprised to see all of his photography equipment when he came by about one month later. I was not expecting such dynamic professionalism, especially for my sake. The photograph he took of me was the best picture I have ever taken. I...

I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He took a lovely portrait of me and my young son years ago. I was hoping to have him photograph my family now, and that's how I learned of his death. Sadly, I don't think there is any photographer in the Portland area who can do gorgeous, classic, formal portraiture the way he did.

Again, this reminder really touches my heart. I adored Bill and was so saddened to hear of his passing. Fly high, my friend, fly high.

My condolences to Bill's family...he was a life long friend who taught me how to stay cool after football practice - shower but don't dry off and how to hide my double chin for a photograph. He was always a joy to be around and always knew where the best burgers where. He was my first friend from high school from outside my neighborhood and remained a great friend to the last.

I'm so saddened to read of Bill's passing. I was working at the Harvest House restaurant while going to college in the 70's. Bill was a customer and I have never laughed as much as when he was around. What a terrific sense of humor. May he eternally rest in peace and please know of my condolences to his family. It's always so hard to loose a "good one".

About 25 years ago, I was helping an elderly woman who had dental problems: she needed about $2,000 of work done. I made a list of five friends who might help with the money and set out to visit each one. Coincidentally, my first stop was at the Sorenson's. Almost immediately, Bill left the room and I finished my pitch to Karen. Quietly, Bill returned and handed me a check for the full $2,000. He was one of the most generous guys I have known and his desire to help was not limited to...

I consider Bill a friend, I am saddened by his passing. My heartfelt condolences to Bill´s family.

Bill was a wonderful friend and mentor. When he held his first full sales and marketing seminar for photographers, I attended along with a few other lucky friends. He was so involved in his topic that we all had to beg him to take a short little bio break! To learn from Bill was way beyond drinking from a fire hose ... it was just standing under Niagra and hoping for the best!
