Mr. Sroka was one of the best teachers at Auburn High when I was there. He will be missed

Bill Sroka was a good man and an excellent teacher; he will be missed by his colleagues and students. My life has been diminished by his death. Bill went on many trips with the AHS History Club and many students benefitted from his generosity and thoughtfulness. An outstanding athlete, a great teacher, and a wonderful human being we are all better people for knowing him. His life was too short, but during his brief tenure he touched many lives. My sincere condolences go to his family. ...

I was sorry to learn of Bill's passing. We went through high school together.
