This is quite an experience for me, as in the last 2 years 3 people I KNOW have passed. This one here, a shock! I knew Bill in High School and by god this man and his buddy Steve could make you or break you, for the most part THEY would make you. By that I mean, Mentorship. I cannot remember a time when Bill would not give you the shirt of his back. Awesome times out on the open fields playing football in the SNOW, at Lower Dauphin and Middletown fields. Going head to head with no gear...

Billy,
I first knew you as a little tyke coming to football practice. You didn't have far to go.. just across the alley. I will always remember your disre to do your best and please your coaches no matter the task. It has been a pleasure watching you grow into a very pleasant and respectful young man. I think of you often and will miss you always.

When I turned on the t.v. that Sunday morning and heard the news, I was in total disbelief. For days I just kept saying to myself, "I can't believe he's gone!". And when they called him a 34 year old man, I said ,"Bill's not a man; aren't we all still teenagers?" But, of course, we're not. That time is gone, but for most of us, I bet the majority of the greatest and funniest memories we have from high school and beyond, include Bill! And I know Bill's greatest moment was the day Billy was...

To lose a friend is always sad, to lose a great guy like Bill so young and unexpectedly is heartbreaking. I'm so happy to have known him and for all the wonderful memories I have. Billy- cherish your memories and always remember how much your Dad loves you. Carla, hang in there. keep him alive in your heart.

"Stags" was a great guy with a quiet manner. He will be missed by his many many friends....It was always a pleasure to see him come thru the door at the Double K ....

Bill, Even though you had to put up with me by default, "being Wayne's wife and all", I always felt we had our own friendship, too. You were a great guy and an awesome Dad. Thanks for some really fun memories and know I will never forget you. Miss you a lot!

BILL, THANK YOU FOR LOVING MY SISTER AND HER CHILDREN YOU SHOWED EVERYONE HOW TO LOVE SO DEEP AND THAT YOU CAN LOVE WITH ALL YOUR HEART, I'LL BE HERE FOR BILLY LIKE YOU WERE FOR MY FAMILY, YOU TOUCHED OUR LIVES FOREVER, YOU'LL ALWAYS ALWAYS BE PART OF MY FAMILY MISS YOU SO ROBIN

Your loss is deeply saddening. Though I didn't know Bill Sr. very well in high school, it is still a tragedy to hear about at such a young age.
