Not sure what to say?

I first met Bill when he took time to meet me when I was in grad school at Iowa U in 1968 and Bill was describing job opportunities at Northwestern Bell. I later worked in his organization at NWB, where his "people sense" , kindness and decency were well-known to employees. It was a privilege to have known Bill.

Dear Jean and Family,
We are so sorry about your loss of your dear husband and father, Bill. What a wonderful guy and outstanding leader! We feel privileged to have known him during your time in Landfall. Our heartfelt prayers are with you all.

Good memories from our Des Moines days of Bill.

Jean and family, you are in the thoughts and prayers of your many friends at St. Andrews-on-the-Sound in Wilmington. Love to you all.

Dear Jean and family, I am so very sorry to hear that your Bill has passed. My love and condolences from the Dickinson family. Mom sure thought the world of you and Bill and so did Dad. Blessings and prayers are being sent your way.

The slogan of Phi Delta Theta is to "Become the greatest version of yourself" and Bill certainly accomplished that.

A great man to work under at NWB, I'm sad to read this.
