Not sure what to say?

Dear Stevenson Family, I am saddened to hear of Bill's passing. Don was my best friend through High School and I know how very much Bill meant to you from my many visits to your home during those years. I still remember Bill's strong moral character and political views. Bill was a good influence on us all. My sincere condolences and best wishes for your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I knew Bill as a friend as we worked together on causes we believed in dealing with policy and politics. I wish his family well as they bid farewell to him for a season. I hope they all take comfort in a life well-lived. We will all miss Bill, our friend.

Richard and family, Sincere condolences to all of you. Your father and I were good friends, particularly during our years when we were in the same office bldg. at 345 S. State. Also, if I recall correctly, Richard, my son Bob and you were friends for many years. I recall particularly your father's sense of humor; we often enjoyed a good "chuckle" over some incident. His passing is a loss to this community for which he did so much. Best Wishes, Bill Britt

Susan and Family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers and now I understand where Susan's spunk comes from. Susan's life is a tribute to Bill and I am honored to call her my co-worker and friend. I pray you find comfort in your memories.

Dear, Cindy and family, I am so sad at the passing of you Dad. He was always so nice to me when we were growing up. He will be missed. Lori Short Langford

Bill was a true gentleman and a dear friend. He will be missed!

It is sad to hear of Bill's passing. I will miss his "drop by" visits to my office, his advice and his warm friendship. But, most of all I will miss how he always had my best interests at heart. Thanks for being a good friend Bill.

Bill Stevenson was a honorable man and great friend. At the end of the day he cared about people, his country and loved his children and grand children. I will forever treasure his friendship, our talks and his counsel. Chuck Warren
