Not sure what to say?

Bill was a remarkable man dedicated to improving the lives of so many. Such a tragic loss to his family and community.

I worked with Bill on the Classic Wines Auction fundraising committee. I was always impressed by his patience, brilliance and generosity. He was used to leading people and meetings, so being part of the audience might have frustrated some. Not Bill he listened to everyone and when his turn came, he offered ideas and open the discussion to hear what others thought would be the best route. The quality of people, Wines, atmosphere, and ambience our reflection of his great taste. So grateful for...

It was such a pleasure to know and spend time with Bill. My husband Mike and I were early Express Office owners and we had the great pleasure of hanging out with Bill. He always was so interested in what your life was all about. Bill was someone who spent his life making a difference for others.

Bill was such an amazing guy! I first met him right after high school when I worked in his temp office in Mac. He was professional and kind to all that came thru those doors. Also to note was his generosity and was a big part of the Dewey Sullivan Fundraiser where he would host many committee meetings in his home while serving samples of his wine... a treat! He also opened his "hollow" for the fundraiser dinner event. I'm sad to here he passed but what a legacy he left behind.

Bill and I became friends thru basketball. Bill at Pacific and myself at Linfield. We continued to catch up at adult basketball tournaments in and out of the country. He was a great guy, leader and competitor. May his memory be eternal. John Melonas

I enjoyed Bill friendship in Portland Rotary and AAU Basketball. Great teammate.

I served on the board of Pacific University with Bill and followed him as the Chair of the Board. To say he was a tough act to follow is a huge understatement. I valued his judgement and had the opportunity to discuss issues about Pacific with Bill long after he retired from active duty on the board. His wisdom and guidance were a help to me many time. He will be missed by many people and many organizations where his presence and guidance were instrumental. He was one of a kind and I...

I very much admired Bill, he was an incredible visionary man. I treasure the fond memories I have of Bill & Cathy Stoller. They hired me to be their Hospitality Manager for the exciting opening of the Stoller Vineyards & Winery Tasting Room in 2005. Their vision for it to be, world class wines & family friendly. And, it is exactly what Bill built it to be. God bless their souls. Forever in my heart. Grace.
