Not sure what to say?

Dr. Stone was a good mentor, leader, and rocket scientist. I worked for him for 5 years and I will be forever grateful for those interesting and productive years. I am glad he was blessed to live a long and good life. Sincere condolences to his family. Although he has departed, he will live on in the memories of those whose lives he touched.

Dr. Stone was a bright man. He was happy to pour his knowledge out and into others as evidenced in the days I spent one summer working with him. Each day I was there we´d work on another small task - a step towards building an airplane in his shop. What a learning experience. I also became a Mechanical Engineer and I have no reservation stating Dr. Stone had a part to play in that decision. He will be missed and hopefully those of us that he poured into can pay it forward.

My most sincere condolences to the Stone family in your loss. Bill was an amazing man, talented and compassionate. He was so helpful to my dad, George Merritt, when he had his stroke several years ago. Sincerest sympathy to your family.

Bill was an example of a life well lived. He will be dearly missed by those lucky enough to know him. My prayers for Anne, his children and grandchildren as you say your final good byes. I can´t imagine the reunion going on in heaven today. I´m sure Bill has a quartet formed and practicing already. We are saying good bye to a wonderful man who loved his Lord with all of his heart, his family, FBC, and the fellowship he had with other devoted Christians, musicians, deacons, Sunday school...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I have known Bill since college and I cherish the memories that remain. He truly was a fine and very intelligent gentleman and will be missed by many. May God bless you in this time or sorrow.
