Not sure what to say?

To my Big Brother Bill,
I miss you so much. You had a way of making every party so much fun with all you great stories. I love the one about the stewardess, every time she brought you something, you would ask if you could give her a tip, she would say no, you kept asking, and finally she said "ok" just to make you stop asking, and you
told her to plant her corn early. Ha ha! Love you Brother Bill

Rural Development Billy Bob

To the family of Bill Stringer
I am deeply saddened learning of Bill's passing. I worked at USDA in another agency, but we were all one big family. Bill was a veteran like myself and had a great respect for the American flag. We tried to instruct others on flag etiquette and trained some to properly fold the flag at the end of each day. He will be missed. May the good memories help you get through this sorrowerful time.

To the family of Bill Stringer - I am so very sorry to hear that Bill has passed away. Bill was a wonderful friend and co-worker at USDA for several years. He retired a couple of years before I did and I missed him when he left. Bill and I had a special bond. I really enjoyed his stories about his family, friends, fishing, hunting and his construction projects. He liked to keep busy. I admired how hard he worked after his knee surgeries..and he really enjoyed his daily walks. You...

To the family of Bill Stringer: I was the State Engineer at Rural Development overseeing Bill's construction inspection of our projects. Bill and I had many lively discussions on the changing times of construction inspection and reporting. Bill, like many of us didn't like to write long detailed reports, but when he took time to mention some problem or onsite difficulties I knew immediately it was time to talk and get more information. As hard core and set in his ways at times, he was a...

To the Family of Bill Stringer--I also worked with Bill. He was my "Billy Bob" and always kept us laughing. You couldn't help laugh when he would start telling you his stories. He was very proud of his family and and would share stories and photos with us. Before he retired he would take a head count on Fridays to see who wanted to get lunch at Charlies at the corner. He will be missed. My deepest sympathies to all of you.

Dear Stringer Family- It is with a heavy heart that I send to you my deepest sympathies in memory of your dad and grandfather. Some of my best working memories are those shared with Bill-whether he was trying to "hammer" into my head construction procedures (he had the patience of a saint) to having me in stitches over some crazy story that I couldn't tell whether it was real or not. He was such a very dear friend and will be missed very much. He shared many family stories with so much...

Susan, Billy and Kaley,
I too worked with Bill (Billy Boy as I fondly called him) for several years. He made me laugh every day with his fish stories and all of the other stories he made up. I never knew when to believe him. He liked to talk about all of you. Kaley, he always kept a dance photo of you when you were quite young displayed in his office and certainly enjoyed bragging about you. He was a proud Grandpa. Susan, he always worried about your health and wished he lived...

To the family of Bill Stringer
Perhaps they are not just stars, but windows to Heaven through which our loved ones shine down to let us know they are always with us.
