Not sure what to say?

I just heard of Bill's passing. I grew up in Morningside and worked at Stumpf's Market while I was in school. Bill taught me so many lessons about respect, caring for customers and people in general during that time, and I admired him greatly. I doubt that he ever realized what an impact he had on others lives, but I will remember him always, and continue to value what I learned by growing up with him in my life. My sympathies to his family.

To The Stumpf Family:

My sympathies to you on the passing of Bill. He was a great friend and I shall never forget him. I too, will miss him, but know that he is at peace.

Uncle Bill was such an inspiration in my life. I always looked forward to our trips to Erie and later walking in his gladiolas garden and showed me the most beautiful ones. We shared many good times. His smile was a "Million Dollar Smile."

Our family, The Edward Stumpf Sr. Family, loved him very much.

I saw hime recently at St. Margaret's Hospital when I had a partial knee replacement and we were...
