Not sure what to say?

I worked with Bill at the Arlington County Police Department. Bill was a great "street cop". His smile and positive attitude made a difficult job a lot easier. I will always have fond memories of Bill and his impact on my life. I know he will be missed by all his family.

My symparhy to the Summers family. I worked with "WJ" on the Norfolk PD in the mid 60s and have many good memories. Look forward to seeing you "on the streets of gold". D. Ray Dorman NPD

My husband Steve and I met Bill while we were all working at Borders. We used to go to the race track together a lot! We lost touch with Bill when he moved to IN and we were very sad to hear that he passed away. We have so many wonderful memories of Bill that we will share with our son as he gets older. Bill was a wonderful man and we both considered him to be a cherished friend. The world has lost a great man!!!! Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bill's family.

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to WIlliam and his family for his service to our country. You don't know me and I don't know you. But having served in the Army myself, I know that Bill's efforts while in the military were probably under-appreciated with the exception of his family and close friends. Please know that his contributions to help keep this great nation free and secure have been noted with gratitude and his family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks Bill!
