To the entire Swanson family and his close friends, I met Bill in mid 1970's when he was an Erie cop working at the Central Mall. I was an employee of a drug store there. He was a fun guy and then I remember his time as the "Mayor of Kelso". He was very proud of his children. Very special man in my life's past, I am thankful I had the opportunity to know him. He will be sorely missed.

to all of Bill's family,
I regret that I cannot visit you and the funeral tomorrow, however, I want to tell you how much all of us from Academy, Class of 1960, will miss him.
Bill and I met in September, 1957, and as all of our classmates would agree, he was a friend forever. Our reunions will not be the same without Bill.
