Not sure what to say?

Mrs. T and Liz, Bill and I have been best friends for almost 20 years and there will never be another like him. He always put others first and he had a special knack of making one laugh even in the face of disaster.

Bill, you know how much you were loved and I know you took all of our love with you. We will see you in the next life. All my love, Lin

I am so sorry to just be hearing about this..Bill and I were at Hillsboro and Auburn together. Hal Rosson (HHS class of '65 and Auburn, class of '70)

Bill was a great guy to be around. I miss how he'd tell stories. I will never forget fishing , hanging out and eating the home cooked mexican dishes. R.I.P. my friend. Tad Bailey Upatoi,Ga

I am so sorry for your loss. Wish I could be there to lend love and support.

Bill was part of the magic that was Hillsboro in the 60's, a person and time to be remembered and cherished always. Sincere sympathy to Bill's family.
Joyce Ligon Torrence, HHS '66

My sincere sympathy to the Tanner family, from a classmate of Bill at Hillsboro.

I first met Bill 13 years ago through my friend Andrea Harris. We shared many visits together through these last years. He was always a kind and good person. I will miss him and his family has my condolences.

Bill and I knew each other from Julia Green days. We connected again many years later in Nashville when I was home for a visit. He proved himself an invaluable friend when I was up from Montgomery to care for my parents. He did many tasks, small and large, to care for them and for me, for which I am ever thankful. I will miss my friend very much. Andrea Davis Harris

I remember Bill from our days at HHS; always the courteous gentleman. You have so much to be proud of as having him as your brother and son. My deepest sympathy to you both.
