Not sure what to say?

Dr. Tanner was the reason I became an English major. His mythology class was my first with him and I was hooked. In grad school, my advisor looked at my transcript and said, "Oh, so you got a degree in Bill Tanner." I am so grateful that I was able to be in his last class at TWU. It was an honor to have spent so much time learning from him.

I owe so much to Bill Tanner. We had such a good relationship and shared many good times. May he live on in the memories of all who loved him.

I have nothing but fond memories of you!

What a wonderful person. I miss you so much. Every time I open one of your Bridge books I have such fond memories of our partnership.

Miss him and know he's enjoying his bridge in heaven!

I lost a wonderful friend and best Bridge partner ever. I know you are at peace.

Bill attended many of my Bridge classes and played regularly at BCOH games. He was a joy to know. We shared a love of cruising. When our Bridge club reopens after this pandemic, he will be sorely missed

He had a wicked sense of humor at times, but mostly I will always appreciate the support he showed this newbie when I joined a department with a lot of history and some colorful characters.
