Not sure what to say?

We just saw this. Our condolences to the family. My parents Eddie and Irene Tao were forever touched and helped by Bill and Anne Tao as immigrants students to Saint Louis in the 1950's. They were forever grateful...
Stanley and Ann Tao

What a wonderful, kind and generous man! He was loved by everyone and everyone loved him! He was so kind to EVERYONE - he never met a stranger. A fun story about Bill: when my husband retired: Bill was one of the speakers at his retirement party, and he gave his whole speech in Chinese, with arm waving and hand gestures and lots of inuendos, which of course no one understood a word!! The whole room was laughing in stitches - it was hilarious! Love you Bill - you will be terribly missed.

Bill was a special person with a playful spirited soul! We loved him and had the honor of knowing him for many many years. He gave me my first job at his firm summers in college. He taught me many great tennis skills. His knowledge of so many things always made it interesting listening to his stories. His humor went beyond levels which made us laugh all the time. I spent many summers at OWCC with he and Anne and will remember our friendship with great pleasure and love. Enjoy all that heaven...

One of my favorite people, I'll miss him and hope to play tennis till I'm 80+ like he did.

Bill's generous gifts to the Garden, the University, and other St. Louis institutions will contribute to our community for generations to come.
