Not sure what to say?

As a lost and troubled kid starting 9th grade at Holyoke High in a strange and new city, "Billy" a junior and big man on campus took me under his wing while working together at the A&P. His kindness, typical of the people of Holyoke, will always be a special memory for me. Reading the Condolences to his family, I'm just one of many whose lives were touched by this special man.

I am sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I worked as Planning Director during his tenure as City Managerin the '70s. He was a very smart man. So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. We were classmates at Holyoke High. My thoughts and prayers are with Pat and Bill's children and grand-children. Rest in peace Bill.
Sincerely,
Ethel Barslow Foster

My condolences to the Taupier Family, I have many fond memories of Bill. I was appointed to the Holyoke police department By Bill Taupier, and enjoyed following his career. He was greatly missed by most of Holyoke, when he decided to start a new career in Lowell. Gone but not Forgotten

Heartfelt thoughts go out to you and your family.

Pat and family,
I send condolences and sympathies to all of you on Bill's passing. He was a great guy, fun to talk to and under that gruff exterior, a softie who only wanted the best for people and his city. I hope fond memories and the support of family and friends help you overcome your sadness.

Mrs. Taupier and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
