Not sure what to say?

Bill a proud member of the SFPD and a role model for all who knew him. R.I.P. Bill.

I'll always remember your happy face Uncle Billy.

I´m a family friend. His daughter Julie and I have been friends since the mid 70s so I´ve known Bill for awhile. He always had a kind smile and a friendly greeting for me. I knew that this was a man who faced some terrifying criminals, but he conquered his fears and got the job done with his team at SFPD. He had a deep patience and a wisdom about human nature. His kind ways and peaceful smile will always be remembered.

It is with sadness I learned of Bill's recent illness and long battle to survive. May he rest in peace. Bill was one of the City's finest law enforcement officers. Condolences to Laura.

Met Bill at Snap Fitness in El Dorado Hills. Once he fond out I was born in SF and raised in SF, we hit it off. He was a kind man but with huge hands. Every time I shook his hand it engulfed my hands. We had quite a few great conversations all about growing up in SF. God Bless him...Terry Christman

Bill was a Class Person with Integrity! A great guy and a special police officer. Billie RIP

I worked with Bill in the SFPD. He was an outstanding cop and friend. He was a role model and mentor to many of the young officers in the SFPD, myself included. Rest in Peace, Billy Boy, we'll take the watch from here. My condolences to his family and friends.

Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a legendary member of the San Francisco Police Department. I worked with Bill in the 1970s and my wife Laurie worked with Bill in the latter part of his career. Bill was truly one of the City's finest.
