Not sure what to say?

My husband and I have been Bill & Pat's neighbor for a little over 3 years. We had some great times together and they always made us feel like a part of their "family".

I have been reading the entries in this guest book and could not agree with these entries more. I can not find the words to describe how much Bill will be missed and what a Great and Talented person he was. Bill would no doubt do anything for anybody.

Pat please do not forget your "family" is right next door if...

Pat & Family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I can't believe it was just about 2 weeks ago when I seen Bill- He had stopped by my sister & brother-in-laws house in Mich. I'm so glad I was home to say "Hi" and give him a big hug. He was such a great guy and so very talented. He would do anything for you! I know he will be truly missed. We will miss his great smile & wonderful stories. Ralph and Cindy Airgood

I had the honor of being called Billy's "daughter-in-law" and did so with pride. He was such a wonderful man, full of love and compassion for others. He and my daughter April had a very close bond, he always said Grandma Pat and April were his "two girls". I will miss my phone calls and emails from Billy, he was one of a kind and always had something to say to make my day better. Pat, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and no matter what, you are still "Grandma Pat" and...

We meet so many people throughout our lives, but it only took meeting Bill once to know special he is. Bill was a true friend to many, with a heart as big as his smile. I loved the passion with which he pursued those things that were important to him. If there is a Color Guard in Heaven, Bill will be standing there to honor each one of us as we return home. Pat, my prayers and thoughts are with you.

Bill became a friend of our family through my brother-in-law who always commented that Bill was the brother he never had. Consequently, Bill became my wife's "other brother" and that is how he would greet her whenever he called or visited our house. I have to echo all of the other comments about how Bill was always there wanting to know how to help, and it wasn't all talk, he demonstrated his caring for people every day of his life.

Just two weeks ago he stopped by our home in...

Rachel and I were saddened by the new of Bill's passing. We hadn't heard until the night of the wake, so we could not make the services. Pat, we love you and know that our prayers are with you. Bill had a personality that was contagious and he was fun to be around. I will always think of him when I pass the Alsip Fire Dept and see the sculpture. Pat, you have a lot of family and friends, but if there's anything we can do, let us know. We will pray for you and may the saving grace of our Lord...

Bill was the brother I never had. From the day Pat and Bill moved in on Hamlin Ave. and I saw his license plates with BT on them I told him he had my plates. When I told him my name he laughed. A few days later my son thought I was cutting down the neighbor's tree, but it was Bill cutting down his own tree. My friends would drive by and honk thinking Bill was me - Bill would just wave. We later found that we enjoyed the same sports. We went hunting down south, we would go boating and...

Bill was a great person and someone that I wish I would have known better. I had much time with my father when I first found him, we went or seperate ways for sometime, but again had the chance to talk and have forgiveness. My father gave me life and that is the best thing anyone in this world could do. I know that he is now in a better place and there watching all of us as we grow. My love to you father and may peace now be brought with all the joyous encounters you shall receive with our...

Bill was an incredible encouragement to me and was one of the kindest persons I have ever known. Bill was always willing to help out anyone in any way possible. I enjoyed seeing Bills creations in the process and was honored to know him as his works of art were revealed. Bill will be loved, missed, and remembered by many.

Dear Friends, let us love one another, for love come from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. -1 John 4:7
