Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Bill's death. He was a best friend and shipmate. We had some good times in California. Hope all the family is well.
Jolynn and I still live in Houston. Most of our family is in this area. Our daughter, Arden, will be 60 this year. Hard to believe it has been that long.

Brilliant & talented man .... I can still hear his Marblehead accent amidst great dinner conversation, splashed with wickedly wry humor. Bill - you will be missed....RIP.

A very sad day--Bill was a wonderful generous artist, skillful and funny. Boston's a little dimmer with his passing.

I was so saddened to learn of Bill's passing. He was an inspiration, mentor and good friend to Carl and me for so many years. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Nancy Schaad

I had worked with Bill on judging an art exhibit and he was a popular demonstrator at my local art association. He was a superb water colorist. I fondly remember looking through his sketchbook of barnyard hens...he painted with such joy. It was clear that his "second" career was one which found its strength from his heart. A giving artist, he will be remembered fondly.

So sorry to learn of the loss of Bill, a tremendous talent and inspiration to so many.

My sincere sympathies to all the family. Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew him, most especially all we artists he so influenced. Karol Wyckoff

My sincere condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one. May prayers strengthen you and memories comfort you. May our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who loves us, comfort your hearts and make you firm. (2 Thess 2:16,17)
