I worked for him when I was 24 years old at the Pasadena country club .what a nice person and let me play golf with him and his staff many times .he was always helpful and always treated me with much respect .what a nice person hell be missed .oh and I worked in the cart barn and loved my job.hoe I can work there again.he is in golf heaven.

There are so many of us who owe so much to Buck Thornbury. In my time at Pasadena Golf Club, from the early 70's to the mid 80's, the atmosphere of golf and friendship was unmatched by anyplace I've been since. And the catalyst for that atmosphere was Bucky.
