Fr. Dragga gave an amazing homily for my Dad yesterday. For those of you who could not be with us, I share it with you below. We were also deeply moved by the words of Bishop Pilla and watching dozens of priests say mass and farewell to Coach/Tiggy/Bill/Billy Tighe. I just learned of Bill's passing. It stirred up many memories of 22 years of golfing with Bill as my partner. I lost contact when I moved to Pennsylvania because I needed someone to watch over me. My most frequent reminder to Bill was that I am 12 years older than him.
My deepest condolences to the family. I too miss Bill, and I will pray faithfully for him. It won't be long before we will meet again. I am just 95 years old.
