Not sure what to say?

I hope the family won't mind my keepingthe Guest Book open. He officiated at my wedding in 95 and was a source of gentle and calm guidance during my years in New York - I moved to London and lost touch with him. Blessings to the family and his memory 20+ years later

Blessed and resting in peace.

Monsignor Toohy was just a young priest when I went to Blessed Sacrament, he has inspired me all of these on the spiritual path .His caring spirit will be missed.

Monsignor Toohy was a kind, caring and holy man, and he will be missed and remembered by all of us who knew and loved him. He comforted and prayed with us when our mother died 9-1/2 years ago and assured us he would keep all of us in his prayers, and he remains in ours. My family moved to Blessed Sacrament 42 years ago, and I cannot imagine the parish without him. My condolences to all who share this loss and thanks be to God he is at peace and suffering no more.

He was very generous with his time, even for the least of us. He remembered us and cared, even though we hadn't been to the parish for years. God has blessed us through him.
