Not sure what to say?

A memorable person, Mr. Tosh was my English teacher back in 77-78. At that time he gave me an extra credit assignment. His giving me that little extra attention means a lot to be now because back then I was a bit of a wayward kid. That single act that made me feel someone cared about me, amongst so many other, far more worthy students, helped shape me into the better person I am today.

A death in the family has brought me from Nebraska to Colorado to my old stomping grounds. While a student at Denver Seminary, Bill afforded me the opportunity to assist him with the Centaurus golf team. In addition to all the golf I was blessed to play with him at various courses, he gave me a free all-day pass to the first International tournament that was played. I will never forget that act of kindness. Instead of discovering his death notice, I had so hoped to look up an old friend and...

Bill Tosh was a great friend and golfing partner. I will always cherish memories of traversing fairways with Bill from Colorado to the "auld sod". Carolyn and I so appreciate the connection we felt with Bill and Marie over the years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Marie, and all the family.

Bill was a wonderful person. I always enjoyed talking to him about art and literature. He had a wonderful and genuine appreciation for my art and that always meant a lot to me. He was a kind and gentle man and I know that he will be dearly missed on this planet.

I'm so sorry for your loss of this great man. I was in his first class at Centaraus, and have always remember Mr. Tosh through the years. He gave me a love for books that has carried on for many years and generations.. What a wonderful legacy he has left to inspire the world around them....RIP Mr. Tosh

Dear Marie, Nick and I are so very sad to learn that Bill has left all of us. We are holding you in our thoughts and saying prayers for you. We loved Bill and will miss him always. Much love to you, Carolyn Cole

I will always be thankful for what I learned from Mr. Tosh. He was a wonderful person and teacher.

Bill and I could not have been more different in our political viewpoint, nonetheless we shared a profound love of golf, good scotch, cigars and travel. We first met on a guys trip to Scotland and Ireland in 1987. Later we were a part of a group of 16 men dubbed Hidden Emeralds who traveled to Ireland in 1998 and with spouses in 2003. This group subsequently had "clan gatherings" in Myrtle Beach, Alabama, Mexico and every winter either in Tucson or Phoenix. Bill is gone, but the memories of...

Thank you for the quiet way that you inspired us to be better students. You will be missed by all.
