Smith Vocational High School was the beginning of my friendship with Bill. Bill and his friends Peter and Bob were members of the Cruisers Car Club and as a group we would go out and help shovel out cars and start cars with dead batteries when school was called. A car full of us would ride the back roads bouncing off snowbanks creating "white outs". Perhaps we were crazy teenage kids but we sure had some fun. The "fabulous Fifties" Sweet memories.!
