Not sure what to say?

I had the privilege of meeting Bill as my Business Agent back in the mid '90s. He always treated me fairly, and was genuinely glad to see me. The last opportunity that I had to chat with him was in December of '09, after I had been in to the hall to sign the books. We had a conversation that was longer than usual, about his health and the facing of mortality on a daily basis. I admired his bravery, and left the hall being glad that I had crossed his path. May God in Christ rest his soul.

I attended the Delegate meetings of the Greater Syracuse Labor Council where Brother Towsley would speak.

He was a strong and dedicated leader of the Building Trades; and Local 43, IBEW.

Towsley Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your father. I will always be grateful for all the help he has given me over the years. He truly was a super nice man.

To the family of Mr. William Towsley.
My teacher, mentor, President, Business Manager fellow tradesman, business trustee and friend, Bill, shall not EVER be forgotten in my mind and heart. A true gem of a man, full of spirit, and certainly in my case, well respected. I am praying for comfort in your family at this time and that his memories live in you just as the few gold pieces I have from him will live in me. God Bless.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

To the Towsley Family,

Your Father/Grandfather was truly a great man, one who upheld longstanding historical honor to the name William. I've been inspired by his courage, passion and peaceful manner. He will be missed, but never forgotten. Big Brother will always be smiling down upon us. It has been an honor to know him. God Bless.
