Oh Will, I have a cannon ball hole in my heart. Three times a day, for four years, in the same desk in the back row by the door i listened and learned and you helped me to become me and I will never be able to thank you. Culture Vulture today: I miss you.

Catcher in the Rye, The Great Gatsby, Taming of the Shrew and Lord of the Flies... If not for Mr. T, I probably would have never picked up these books nor enjoy reading as I still do today. And the memories of being part of the 1981 original Eastport production of "The MouseTrap" still make me laugh to this day.
I am greatly saddened by this news, but I know he touched many of our lives in such a wonderful way.

I was saddened to hear about my favorite English teacher leaving us for that heavenly classroom in the sky. He was a wonderful teacher and will be greatly missed. I will never forget one of his favorite sayings that I repeat to this day, "Someone has to flip the burgers." Class of '86

It's impossible for a person to know everything but he came so close. Everyone looked to Mr. Troeller for answers because he always seemed to have one. He was quick witted, honest and simply an amazing teacher. I can't express enough in words what an influence he was, and always will be. He will forever be immortal to us, in our memories and in our hearts. My prayers are with the family and with anyone else he may have touched. God Bless.
