Not sure what to say?

Bill and Marcia Truswell were the first people we became acquainted with when we moved to Oregon and joined Trinity Lutheran in 1973. We were best friends from that time forward-trips to Orcas Island, Seattle to Mariners games and our Wednesday night dinners together. I miss both of them.

When Bill married our cousin Marcia over 67 years ago, he became our cousin too! We have wonderful memories of our times together! Our deepest sympathy to the family. God Bless you all and the memory of Bill - a really good man!!!

I attended Trinity Lutheran Church in my youth, and the Ide family were good friends with the Truswells. My sister and I were friends with Bill and Marcia's kids, Michele and Mitch. Bill was always kind with a great smile. My wife was on the ski team at Gresham High School in the 70's and Bill was one of her coaches. A really nice family. My prayers go out to Michele and Mitch and the rest of the family.

Grandpa Bill always had a positive, and energetic, approach to everyone he interacted with. It often made him the life of the party at family gatherings or while golfing. It was hard to not have a smile on my face while spending time with Grandpa Bill. I'm grateful for all of those fun times I shared with him.

In the end, every leather good he had was sold! Thanks, Dad, for...
