Not sure what to say?

Dr Tucker was "my Dean" at Brite was in his first class using "Journey in Faith", and until his leaving for Bethany College. Of his accomplishments - nothing surprises - it was Just Bill Tucker being Bill Tucker. A Servant Leader of the highest order. My Condolences to Jean and Family.

I was a student at TCU in the 80s when Dr. Tucker was chancellor there. Just an average student, no one special. But one day I had a random encounter with Chancellor Tucker on campus. From that day on he remembered me. Every time he saw me, no matter where he'd call out to me by name and say hello. Sometimes stop and have a few words with me, asking me how things were going. I've always remembered that and was very sad to learn of his passing. Prayers and thoughts to his family.

I´m so sorry to hear of Bill´s passing. I loved Bill and Jean when they were in Bethany. I wish they could have stayed longer. I hope Jean remembers me I was the organist at Bethany Memorial Church. I´m sending love and prayers to the whole family. Judy Allison

Very sorry to hear of Dr. Tucker's passing. I have many fond memories of the Tucker family while they were at Bethany College. Condolences Ross Kleiner, Duncan SC

The Lord blessed Dr. Tucker with remarkable intelligence, an ability to see the best and overlook the worst in his fellow men, and a sense of humor that would make you smile rather than laugh out loud. I will miss and always remember him. God bless his family and friends.

My husband Steve Kintigh and I remember DrTucker with fondness. In 1994, Steve was the Director of Camus Recreation and I started working at the TCU Counseling Center. That same year, Steve had a life-saving kidney transplant. Although our paths barely crossed wit Dr. Tucker, he made a personal pastoral call and prayed with us in the hospital during Steve´s recovery. I will forever cherish this special memory.

I met Bill when I was a TCU graduate student in 1979. I knew him as a faculty member for the next 20 years. He nourished the roots of TCU (endowment, increasing faculty salaries to attract top faculty, etc.) that allowed the University to grow and prosper and become the school that we have today. He was one of the giants on whose broad shoulders we now stand.
