Not sure what to say?

Rex was a dear friend from years ago and will always hold a special place in my heart. In my mind I can see him and Ted chasing one another among the clouds getting into mischief like they did when they were boys.

Sleep sweetly my old friend.

Randy,Dana and April - several years ago I did some research for Rex and Naomi into your family history. If you are interested in this information and have not received it already, it is still somewhere in my old files and I will find...

I just heard today that Billy Rex passed on and offer my sincerest condolences to his family. Rex was always a joy to be around as was Randy. I have only fond memories of them both.

Silly me. Guess I was more shaken than I thought. Forgot to sign my name.

For some reason, I was seized today with the desire to Google someone I knew a long time ago: Billy Rex Tutor. It saddened me to find this obituary. I knew Rex a long time ago back when he told me he was going to start using "William" as his first name. He was fun to be around and he talked a lot about April and Dana. Though he may have forgotten me, I never forgot him. I think that's one of the reasons most of the heroes in my novels have red hair. (I even dedicated one of the books to...

I was friends with Rex's parents, Naomi and Hardy and remember the three boys growing up in Frayser. I am sincerely sorry for the family's loss and will remember them in my prayers. Barbara Kelly

Thank you for being so sweet to my Mom (Hazel Niblett Ray) over all these years. You've always been more than just a nephew to her. I loved listening to her laugh when you would tell a story. I am sorry we never got a chance to come see you this summer, but I'm glad you are with your Mom & Dad and you are smiling down on us. Much Love Uncle Santa

I would love the way out of the clear blue sky you would text me about the Warhawks or LSU or Crawfish or something on Fox News that got you going, I never did tell you how that would brighten my day. I'm so glad you came for a visit last summer and I loved every story you'd tell about growing up with my momma(Hazel). I'm so blessed to have known you.

Rex was a great guy! He loved to make people laugh! He loved to play Santa at Christmas to make everyone smile! He spent many holidays with our family. He was best friend to my brother-in-law. Rex will be missed but never forgotten for his kind and gentle spirit!
We are praying for family and friends.
