William M. "Bill" Tyson

I remember Mr. Tyson very well. I met him several times when he would visit the operators in Kinston. Later I meet with him about a job and was later hired by him. He was a friend to my mother who worked in the Kinston office and she always spoke so highly of him. He was always nice and helpful when I would speak with him. I hope the family will find comfort in all the comments of admiration being made by so many people about Mr Tyson. He helped a so many people in his life.

I went to work for Bill in New Bern in 1969 when he was Personnel Manager. He was a great boss and a wonderful person. I have fond memories of him.

I worked in Dunn with Bill all the years he was there. A nice man and well thought of by all employees.

I have fond memories of Bill, He hired me to be his sec. around 1964 in Dunn, N. C. He gave me an opportunity to have a wonderful career with the telephone company. He was a very special person and I am sorry for your loss.
