Not sure what to say?

Just learned about Bill's passing this evening and I'm saddened. We met about 40 years ago while attending Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. I will always remember his gregarious, can-do spirit. We became friends and each of us hosted the other at our respective parent's homes. He managed the campus radio station - KNAU - as though it was his child. We spent many good times over the years reflecting on the path our lives had taken. I will sorely miss his humor and good spirit. ...

I and my sisters went to school at Our Redeemer Lutheran with Bill. Marquita was instrumental in getting me into radio at WTRU, in the very early 60s. Bill and I remained friends over the many years and I last talked with him after visiting Our Redeemer Church in the summer of '05. Sister Mary Ellen called and told me about Bill's passing. I feel such a void and will miss visiting with him on my returns to Muskegon from my home in Nebraska. My condolences to Marquita and family. ...

I was sad to see of Bill's passing. I know him from when we were both in radio at competing stations in Muskegon. He was a great guy and had a delightful sense of humor. He will be missed.

Dear Marquita
I met you both at junior civic theater so long ago and just saw Bill at the flea market last summer buying books. Wow! What a shock! I just thought he would always be there -- sort of like Hackley Park! I am so sorry.

Marquita, Sorry to hear of Bill's passing. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.

Talk about a loss to the Muskegon Community, Bill will be missed by many. I first got to know Bill in the Greater Muskegon Jaycees in the late 1970's and we served on the board of directors together for many years. Bill had been one of my local radio hero's for many years and to get to know him on a social and community level has been an inspiration in my life. I'm sure the Lord will find a place for him on His communication team.
