Not sure what to say?

when he tought me how to play the piano and ping pong

Dave was instrumental in organizing Ambucs across Alabama. He helped raise and fund AmTrykes to anyone who lived in Alabama and needed an adaptive Tryke. He also helped find groups build wheelchair Ramps to those who needed them to be able out of their homes.
I had the pleasure to stay with Dave and Ann in several occasions and they both were so delightful. He had such a kind and giving heart. Well done Dave. We will definitely miss your presence here in earth,

Sad to hear about the passing of Dave. I enjoyed our relationship through Ambucs, stayed in his home many times and enjoyed visiting with Dave and Ann. He was instrumental in starting the local Ambuc club and proving AmTrykes and wheelchair ramps throughout Alabama. His giving spirit was seen throughout each and every day I had the opportunity to serve with him and we will miss him and his wit!
Well done thy good and faithful servant!

So sorry I did not learn of David's death until today. David was my second cousin and we kept in touch over the years. He never forgot his upbringing and supplied job opportunities for a great number of relatives and friends in Walker County. He and Ann always attended the funerals of relatives in Walker County.
I am honored to have known him.

Dave Upton was like an uncle to me. He never ceased to give me good advice or in telling funny stories about stupid things I had done as a child, but the way he told them even made me laugh. He was a great blessing to countless people and his kindness was matched only by his and his families prolificness. He will be missed and remembered.

I thought of Dave this morning, looked up on I-pad and found of Dave's passing. Judi & I were next door neighbors.in the 60's and early 70's. Dave & Ann made our years in Vestavia memorable...A great man. he will be missed by all. Our Prayers to the family. Judi & Milt Mitchell

"Well done, good and faithful servant" and now he has been welcomed into his heavenly reward with Jesus as his Savior . I have many good memories with Dave and he served the Lord in many capacities and I was blessed to be with him on so many of those occasions , and stood with him on the Pro Life demonstrations in both Atlanta and B'ham. where we ended up the day together in an overnight stay in the B'ham jail. We prayed together and served together and thanked the Lord for saving us as...

Condolences to the Upton family. May you find comfort of heart and peace in God's words found at 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 and 3:16.
