Not sure what to say?

To Mr. Utter's family, I am sad for your loss. I am also incredibly grateful for the 94 years of this man's life. I was a student at Miami University in the early 1980s studying radio and TV. I worked at WMUB where I met Mr. Utter. He was the station general manager. He was such a professional and kind man. It was a pleasure to run into him at any time. When I was stuck on the edge of a grade point average that was preventing me from getting "into my major" and therefore taking the...

Luke and Dixie were our wonderful neighbors in Oxford for over 20 years. Many fond memories of our conversations across the white fence. We wish Dixie and family peace and comfort in the coming days. Bill Berg and Heeyoung Tai

Mr Utter was my employer as a I was a student working at WMUB in 1982-1986. He was also my professor and a wonderful advisor. I recall his kindness and his positive energy. One of those people you are blessed to come across in life. May He rest in peace and may his family find God's peace and comfort in their grief. A wonderful life lived

I always enjoyed seeing Mr. Utter when he visited the library. I will miss his friendly smile and his positive, sweet spirit.

Thank you for your service to our Country.

Dr. Utter was my favorite Professor at Miami. He was so supportive, patient, and kind. I learned so much from him and won´t ever forget his amazing smile! Sending my condolences to the family.

I remember great broadcasting classes that got me through the first half of my working life. Thank you!

Very sorry to learn about this. Both Bill (he was Bill to me!) and Dixie were very impactful to me while I was a student...in h.s. for Dixie, and working at WMUB as a college student for Bill. I have the utmost respect for both of them, and wish peace and comfort to all.
