William Lucas Utter

To Mr. Utter's family, I am sad for your loss. I am also incredibly grateful for the 94 years of this man's life. I was a student at Miami University in the early 1980s studying radio and TV. Mr Utter was my employer as a I was a student working at WMUB in 1982-1986. He was also my professor and a wonderful advisor. I recall his kindness and his positive energy. Dr. Utter was my favorite Professor at Miami. He was so supportive, patient, and kind. I learned so much from him and won´t ever forget his amazing smile! Sending my condolences to the family.

Very sorry to learn about this. Both Bill (he was Bill to me!) and Dixie were very impactful to me while I was a student...in h.s. for Dixie, and working at WMUB as a college student for Bill. I have the utmost respect for both of them, and wish peace and comfort to all.
