Rick, Mary and family, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with all of you.

Dear Claire: I just read that Bill recently passed. My condolences are with you and your family during this difficult time. It was a pleasure knowing Bill and you. Bill was a wonderful man and he helped my son, Joel E. Perez when he was younger enter the Boys' Scouts. He had a beautiful heart. Blessings to you all.

'Gramma Claire' and family, there are no adequate words to express our sadness at the loss of 'Grampa Bill / Willie the Whale'. He was a remarkable man who raised, with Claire, a wonderful family. He will always be remembered in my heart as the man who chauffered, and sang for the father/daughter dance at my wedding; and the hero who rescued a man who had drown in my folks pool. I have no doubt Dad was waiting at the gate with a fishing pole! My love to you all.
