My buddy from Camp M Rest In Peace!

I just learned of Bill's passing, and am truly saddened at the news. As a fellow member of the Ionia-Montcalm County Bar, he was a skillful attorney, always good natured and professional. My belated condolences to Jan and the rest of the family.

Our condolences to Jan and the entire family. Bill was a wonderful person, a leader, a role model and a friend. He will certainly be missed but his spirit and memory live on. God's blessing during this difficult time.

I was saddened to hear about Bill´s passing. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Jan and the entire Van Eck family. Bill certainly was, and continued to be, a kind, generous, fun-loving and loving husband to Jan and father to his kids. Even though I haven´t spoke to the family for sometime, I know this through my daughter Melissa who remains close friends with Bill & Jan´s daughter Tenille. He will be missed by many. I will miss Bill riding by our home in his boat and waving while riding in the back seat. Bill is in a better place with...

Bill was a friend, he was kind, considerate, loving husband, loving father and grandfather. He will be missed by everyone.

We, as a family who knew Bill and his extended family through employment and friendship over the course of many years - cannot even begin to imagine the impact of his loss. Everyone who knew him was aware that his family and faith came before all else and he will be remembered for this legacy. Our thoughts and prayers remain with you.

My heart is so saddened to hear of Bill´s passing. I hold you all close and send peace and love. Heidi
