William Sterling "Bill" Vance Jr.

I just found out today that Dr. Vance has left this world. With tears in my eyes, I would like to say I only knew him a short time as my Cardiologist from 2000 until he retired but he was the BEST doctor I had ever had. He was soft spoken and would listen to me and answer my questions or any concerns I had. His bedside manner was so comforting. I would like to send my condolences to his family and hope you can find peace. His memory will live on forever. God bless and keep him.

Bill Vance, a mentors mentor!! I knew Bill originally as my Cardiology teaching attending physician at John Peter Smith in the late 1980s. He taught me how to be even tempered, intentional, happy at work, but most importantly how to have that balance of work and life. We later worked together as physicians at Harris Methodist Fort Worth.
