Father Bill, I will also remember the great times we had on Claridge St. They where some of my happiness memories. I will always remember "Silly Willy." Rest in Peace my fun loving cousin. Say hello to the family for me. God Bless. Love, Debbie

He was truly a good friend & brother priest. His Rectory was always open to me. I will miss him very, very much !

Father Vandegrift was initially met by our son John and our lovely daughter-in-law in the church parking lot as he was loading his golf clubs into his car. He gladly cooperated with them to officiate their wedding as out of state Catholics since Chelsea always dreamed about a "Beach Wedding". Thank...

Rest in Peace Father Bill. Such a caring and loving individual. You have left a footprint on our hearts. He was at our young son's burial, he blessed our 25th wedding anniversary, baptized our baby in a snow storm and volunteered ME and so many others at St. Augustine's church. He was so special to all of us here . Thank you for being in our lives. You will never be forgotten.

He was larger than life. With his Irish smile , contagious laughter, words of his wisdom ( which naturally changed over the years) and not to forget Bill's incredible...
