My condolences to the family. I worked for Wislawn around 1955 on Chelten Avenue. I drove a delivery truck (1951 Ford) along with 2 other drivers. One was an older man and the other a young blond man. I remember two men who worked in the machine shop. The manager was Tom Bredlinger. I also had the pleasure of taking my wife and young Daughter in 1963 to the Chelten Grille located at Limekiln Pike and Chelten Avenue. I believe it too was owned by the Vare family. sincere sympathy from Jack and Joan Hubbert. We were neighbors and Country Club friends for many many years. Many memories which are all good.

My childhood friend for eighty-five years - I always treasured his advice and loyalty. He had to bury two sons which is a tough assignment. I already miss his hearty laugh. Perhaps there will be a putting green in Heaven!
