Not sure what to say?

Hi Billy, We didn't get to know you as we lived our lives in Virginia and California. Your Dad, Bill, was such a nice person. The last time we were in Erie, he came over to Mikie's home where the family had come together for our visit. Bill's smile was still ready and I had a good time talking with him. I remember the time we had asked him and Bettyann to be our Godparents for our son Jim. We were so surprised that they not only accepted but came down to Virginia for the baptism. That...

DEAR MRS VEITH,
I AM ONE OF DR SIVAK'S SONS. I HAVE FOND MEMORIES AS A CHILD OF BILL COMING TO OUR HOUSE. HE WAS A PRETTY GREAT PERSON I KNOW HE WILL BE GREALTY MISSED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM. YOU AND YOUR FAMILY HAVE MY DEEPEST SYMPATHIES.

Dear Betty Ann, Billy and Family,

I was so sorry to hear of Bill's death. My memories of living on 36th Street always include him. After my dad died, I can remember sitting on the steps with him and just talking. He listened so well and always seemed to help me feel better.

I always enjoyed when I returned for a visit and I would get to visit with him. He always had such a cheerful smile and wonderful stories to tell.

I often reflect back on the years on 36th Street...

Dear Bettyann, we are saddened to hear of Bill's death.Remember him fondly. Our prayers are with you.

Billy, I am sorry you have lost your father. He lives on in all of us as. It makes me smile to think of him. Many times your Dad came to the rescue of the Serafin's. He not only fixed our plumbing, but made us laugh in the process. I will never forget him teaching me as a teenager how to solder lead pipes in the back room of the store. Bill turned on the propane torch, then began to search frantically for a match. By the time we got the thing lit we had a 6' high flame. Of course he...

Bill was the eighth child and I (Jim) was the ninth and youngest of the family. He was 3 1/2 years older. May he now rest in peace.

DEAR BETTY

SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I KNOW IT IS HARD AS I LOST MY MARY LAST JUNE.

THEY ARE IN HEAVEN NOW.
