Dear Betty Ann, Billy and Family,

I was so sorry to hear of Bill's death. My memories of living on 36th Street always include him. After my dad died, I can remember sitting on the steps with him and just talking. He listened so well and always seemed to help me feel better.

I always enjoyed when I returned for a visit and I would get to visit with him. He always had such a cheerful smile and wonderful stories to tell.

I often reflect back on the years on 36th Street...

Billy, I am sorry you have lost your father. He lives on in all of us as. It makes me smile to think of him. Many times your Dad came to the rescue of the Serafin's. He not only fixed our plumbing, but made us laugh in the process. I will never forget him teaching me as a teenager how to solder lead pipes in the back room of the store. Bill was the eighth child and I (Jim) was the ninth and youngest of the family. He was 3 1/2 years older. May he now rest in peace.
