Not sure what to say?

Bill was Assistant Coach for Roy Danforth when I played basketball at Syracuse University. He was instrumental in guiding me through tough times. Without his encouragement, I might have never played during my junior/senior year. I never got the chance to thank him properly. I am thanking him now.

We are so sorry we can not be with you to say our good-byes to Bill. Please know you have our most sincere sympathy.

Love, Flora and Nancy Workman

Bill Vesp was a gentle man as well as being a true gentleman. He lived his life with integrity, class, and distinction, traits that he stressed in his personal life as well as a coach at Syracuse and Colgate and as an athletic administrator at the state level and high school. He was a good man and will be missed by all. Bless you, Bill.
Larry Kimball, Sports Information Director, Syracuse University, 1966-97 you,Bill.

The Vesp Family,
My deepest sympathy is with you for the loss of your Bill. Nicole and Gavin, I don't know if you remember me, but I used to babysit for you when you lived on Buckingham, in Syracuse.

Your father was a great guy and will be truly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.
